Here’s one I stole from Defiant and tweaked based on what was available at the Ft. Hood gym that’s a perfect start to the week. Sorry I don’t have a better opener today but gosh-darnit I’m SO EXCITED!!
For Time:
30 Push Press
40 Pullups
50 KB Swings
60 Push-ups
70 Sit-ups
If you don’t have a nice warm and fuzzy in the chest after this one, I can’t help you.
You know what else should give you the warm-and-fuzzies? Paleo Summit. I just signed up and you should, too!
Oh! I’ve also got a quick and easy dinner tonight (actually a repost from a couple months ago) that’s an amazing way to soothe your aching muscles. Whatever, it’s that kind of day and if I’m going to beat you into the ground and then have almost nothing to say to you–the day before Valentine’s Day!!–the least I could do is feed you, right?
MEATZA
2 lbs ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 t Oregano
1/2 t Basil
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 Jar Organic, Crap-free Tomato Sauce
Toppings of Choice
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine beef, spices, and eggs. Press down on a cookie sheet or baking pan to about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Bake for 10 minutes.
Carefully drain excess liquid from the baking dish. Feed the meat juice to your Husky, if desired.
Top beef with sauce and toppings (I love bacon, onions, mushrooms, and fresh mozzarella if I’m feeling the Dairy Thang). Broil for 5-8 minutes or until topings are cooked to your liking.
(Why do I always capitalize “MEATZA,” btw?…Because it’s just that awesome, that’s why)
Just made it! It was very meaty but very awesome. Skipped the mozzarella but definitely using it post Whole30.
